How Microsoft renewal works
Eligible Microsoft associate, expert, and specialty certifications can generally be renewed through a free online Microsoft Learn assessment during the renewal eligibility window. Fundamentals certifications do not currently expire.

The renewal window generally opens six months before expiration.
